What is Natural Rudraksha?
Rudraksha is the dried seed of the Elaeocarpus ganitrus tree, grown mainly in the Himalayan belt of Nepal and the volcanic soil of Java, Indonesia. The name comes from Rudra (Shiva) and aksha (tear) — the beads are revered as the compassionate tears of Mahadev.
Each bead carries vertical grooves called mukhi (faces). The number of mukhi decides which deity and planet the bead represents — from the singular 1 Mukhi of Shiva to the rare 21 Mukhi of Kubera. A bead's power is not decided by price alone but by its authenticity, intact mukhi lines and correct energisation.
