Every bead dispatched by Mauhurtika Rudraksha is hand-sorted at source, X-ray scanned for its natural internal compartments, mukhi-verified by an independent gemmological laboratory and sealed with a certificate carrying a unique, verifiable report number.

We issue a written authenticity guarantee with every order. If any recognised gemmological laboratory in India certifies that a bead purchased from us is not a natural Rudraksha of the stated mukhi and origin, we refund the full purchase amount along with your laboratory testing fee — no arguments, no restocking charge.
We never rely on water tests, copper-coin tests or seller assurances. Authenticity at Mauhurtika is established the only way it can be established: radiographically, by counting the natural internal compartments of the seed and matching them against the mukhi lines visible on the surface.
Every certified bead ships in tamper-evident blister packing along with its laboratory card, a wearing vidhi sheet and the Pran-Pratishtha record. Keep the certificate — it carries resale, insurance and gifting value.
How a Bead Becomes Certified
Source Sorting
Beads are hand-picked in Nepal's Himalayan belt and Java, Indonesia, then rejected for cracks, insect holes, broken mukhi lines and repaired surfaces.
Physical Examination
Under a 10x loupe the gemmologist checks mukhi continuity from hole to hole, natural pore structure, contour asymmetry and any sign of glue or filler.
X-Ray Scanning
A radiograph reveals the internal seed compartments. The compartment count must exactly match the number of surface mukhi lines.
Measurement
Size is recorded in millimetres and gross weight in grams for that exact bead, so the certificate can never be transferred to another.
Report Issue
The laboratory issues an identification report with photograph, report number and online verification number, signed by the chief gemmologist.
Energisation & Sealing
The bead undergoes Vedic Pran-Pratishtha and abhishek, then is sealed in tamper-evident blister packing with its certificate.
